Another group infection occurred in a nursing home in Gwangju.

This happened when a nursing care worker was confirmed.

It turned out that the caregiver cared for the patients for two days after symptoms appeared.

On the 15th, a nursing home in Gwangju showed symptoms of Corona 19.

However, on the 21st, 16 people were confirmed, including nurses and patients.

One in 10 patients died before the test results were available.

The outbreak occurred in 7 living rooms on the 3rd floor where the nursing home worked, the first person confirmed.

The confirmed prisoners were transferred to a special hospital.

Although they were on the same floor, the inmates who were judged negatively decided to be distributed to nursing homes.

Fortunately, there were no confirmed people in the second floor room just below.

Quarantine authorities believe that the caregiver had abnormal symptoms in the body, but took care of the patients.

The Metropolitan City of Gwangju has shortened the preventive inspection cycle of nursing facilities from 4 to 2 weeks.

It also decided to strengthen quarantine management for nursing facilities.
