The unprecedented disciplinary commission of the Attorney General’s Office, held yesterday at the Ministry of Justice, will continue on the 15th.

Eight witnesses were also adopted and the defense of the Ministry of Justice and President Yoon Suk-yeol is expected to be fierce during the interrogation process.

General Yoon did not reveal his position regarding the disciplinary committee.

I did not attend the disciplinary committee yesterday after hard work.

Although it was not officially released, it was reported due to the problem that the disciplinary committee procedure was unfair.

Instead, special attorneys attended the disciplinary committee, and the disciplinary committee started around 10:30 a.m. yesterday and ended until 8 p.m.

Yesterday, the disciplinary committee was resolved an hour after the start of President Yoon’s request to evade the disciplinary committee.

Does the controversy continue over the fact that all denial requests were rejected?

Even after the disciplinary committee was opened, the faces of the disciplinary committee members were raised.

They were said to be members of the Justice Ministry who were involved in the prosecution of President Yoon, or outsiders who had expressed hostile views to the prosecution.

For this reason, four out of five members of the disciplinary committee were questioned.

However, after a vote, the disciplinary committee rejected the impeachment request from President Yoon’s side.

In particular, there was controversy among the members who were challenged, Shim Jae-cheol, the Attorney General of the Ministry of Justice.

First, after participating in a vote on whether or not to avoid other members, the disciplinary committee was confirmed as a four-member system avoiding the committee.

Regarding this, President Yoon’s side is criticizing that even though he knows that Director Shim himself does not qualify as a member, he has done a trick to satisfy the quorum of the decision to avoid.

However, Vice Minister of Justice Lee Yong-gu, an ex officio member of the disciplinary committee, emphasized that there was no problem.

Among them, Ryu-hyuk, an inspector from the Ministry of Justice, who was controversial because he was ‘outmatched’ during President Yoon’s inspection,

The information officer of the investigation, Son Jun-seong, who was in charge of the drafting department of the ‘Suspected Judge Inspection Document’,

Prosecutor Park Young-jin, who was on the command line of the Channel A Great Sword case, is known to have a strong will to assist.

In fact, Sohn and Attorney General Park were on standby at the Ministry of Justice building yesterday to prepare for the adoption of witnesses.

However, it is unclear if the witnesses in the counterpoint to President Yoon, such as Seoul Central District Prosecutor Lee Seong-yoon and Deputy Prosecutor Jeong Jin-woong, who are involved in the self-harm case, are in the opposite direction.

This is because, unlike court witnesses, disciplinary committee witnesses are not legally required to attend.

The disciplinary committee, which will continue on the 15th, will question the witnesses present.

The biggest problem appears to be the illegality of the ‘Judge’s Inspection Suspicion Document’, which is one of the key reasons for this disciplinary claim.

While the disciplinary committee plans to close the resolution that day, there are also observations that the number of adopted witnesses may require an additional date or two.
