The trend is gradually declining from the peak of 27 last month when there were more than 400 people, but it is an uncomfortable phase where the scale of the outbreak can increase at any moment.
This is because large and small group infections are sporadic and the proportion of patients who do not know the route of infection exceeded 24%.
The internal outbreak was 189 and the foreign entry was 9.
When looking at the national outbreaks by region, 68 in Seoul, 55 in Gyeonggi and 5 in Incheon, 128 only in the metropolitan area.
Outside of the metropolitan area, Chungnam was the largest with 20 people.
10 in Gwangju followed by 7 in Daegu.
There were no new confirmed cases in Sejong, Jeonbuk and Jeju.
Entry abroad was confirmed by 4 people during the quarantine stage and 5 people from the local community.
The number of people newly quarantined was 254, a reduction from 58 patients currently in quarantine.
The number of seriously or seriously ill patients was 157, an increase of 3 per day.
It is also the highest number since the Corona 19 outbreak in Korea.
The death toll increased by two more, bringing the cumulative death toll to 331.

[기자]The Security and Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters, chaired by Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun, discussed whether the strengthened distance from the metropolitan area should be further extended in the Sejong Government Complex today.
Prime Minister Chung said in all his remarks that instead of urgently easing quarantine measures to provoke a major crisis, we should do everything possible to create a positive reversal phase.
He also stressed the need to maintain reinforced social distancing, saying that now is the time to tighten the reins of quarantine.
The government will announce the results of the discussion at a briefing at Defense Response Headquarters in the afternoon.
In the case of the metropolitan area, it is known that the period of application of 2.5 steps will extend one week and the period of the second phase will apply for two more weeks in the rest of the region.
Restrictions on school attendance in the metropolitan area are also expected to be extended accordingly.
The government’s goal is to reduce the number of new cases per day to less than 100.
In particular, since the Chuseok holidays are scheduled for the end of this month, the position is that the number of confirmed patients should be as low as possible before then.
