The proportion of confirmed patients whose route of infection is unknown is close to 30%.

Seocho-gu, Seoul, is said to be testing Corona 19 on 430,000 residents over the next two months.

It is the first inspection day for residents, so there are not many people.

Let’s connect the reporters in the inspection office. Reporter Jung Hyun-woo!

There are a total of 18 newly established inspection offices in each Dong Community Center in Seocho-gu and nearby facilities.

At one point, there was a line in front of the inspection station when news broke that residents were undergoing a full inspection, but were often empty.

At noon today, the number of people who visited the temporary detection office in Seocho-gu was counted as 395.

To achieve the goal of a comprehensive inspection of 430,000 residents in the next two months, it is necessary to inspect about 7,000 people a day, but since it is the first day, there are not many citizens visiting.

Newly established laboratories are only available for saliva PCR tests, which analyze the composition of saliva.

If you write down the presence or absence of symptoms on a list and deliver saliva in a container according to the instructions, the test is easily completed, so the burden on residents is less.

Although it is somewhat less accurate than the conventional method, it also has the advantage that it does not require much contact from medical personnel.

In fact, there are only 5 people operating the inspection station, and the time it takes to undergo inspection per visitor is not long, so there seems to be no big load.

The district office allowed not only local residents, but also other municipalities to be assessed.

The plan is to prevent infection problems by subjecting people with overlapping living areas, such as those who work at Seocho-gu, for testing.

As the infection spreads in various places of daily life and the proportion of confirmed patients with unknown pathways reaches 30%, each local government is also establishing inspection stations aimed at ordinary citizens.

In the metropolitan area, 152 temporary screening tests have been installed so far, and of the 500,000 people who have been tested for more than two weeks, about 1,400 have tested positive.

Also, temporary inspection and control stations are increasing in non-metropolitan areas.

Busan City has now increased the number of temporary detection offices to five, and Gwangju City has also established one in the square in front of City Hall.

As the quarantine authorities have increased the operation of the inspection station by two more weeks, the search work for silent radio waves is expected to continue for some time.
