After interviewing Cho Doo-soon, who is scheduled to be released in December, the Ministry of Justice determines that there is a risk of repeat offense and is planning an additional interview for parole after release.

As the release approached, various preventive measures were taken, but the family of the victims who lived in Ansan, where Cho Doo-soon will return, finally decided to relocate.

Cho Doo-soon is released on December 12 after serving 12 years in prison for kidnapping elementary school students and rape.

The Ansan Probation Office, which will be in charge of the administration after the release, held an interview with Cho Doo-soon in July.

In the first interview conducted after the persuasion, Jo Doo-soon said that he was sorry for his sins and that he would not cause controversy after being released.

When asked about future plans, he vaguely stopped drinking and replied that he would work as a day job.

Although Cho Doo-soon showed a willingness to reflect, probation officers and clinical psychologists determined that there were still concerns about committing another crime.

There is no specific social life plan, so it seems that unstable life will continue.

Some also pointed out that since they committed crimes while intoxicated, it was necessary to limit alcohol consumption and go out, and prohibit victims from accessing them.

First, the probation office is planning additional interviews after the first interview focused on building trust.

The main goal is expected to be to improve sexual awareness and confirm alcohol dependence.

Earlier, after being released from prison, Jo Doo-soon said that he would go to Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, where he lives and lives.

The City of Ansan has decided to expand the CCTVs near Cho Doo-soon’s home and double the number of CCTVs in the building by next year.
