Amid the rapid spread of the third corona epidemic19, the number of new confirmed cases rose from 382 to 300 over two consecutive days.

As quarantine authorities spread out across the metropolitan area, it is important to strictly control this area and it is still premature to increase the distance across the country to the second stage.

Corona 19 spread rapidly in the metropolitan area, registering 382 new confirmed cases, approaching 400.

Of the 363 national outbreaks and 19 foreign entries, 255 in the metropolitan area, more than 70% of the internal outbreak.

The quarantine authorities stressed that the most important thing is to strictly control the metropolitan area, where the spread is scary.

Meanwhile, the average number of confirmed cases per day in Korea during the last week was 316.3, which has already met the condition of taking the country to the second stage.

However, after seeing the effect of managing the second stage of the metropolitan area, the Honam area and some areas of Yeongseo, Gangwon-do in 1.5 stages, it is a position that will decide whether to upgrade to the second stage nationwide.

Meanwhile, after raising the direction of the streets of the metropolitan area to the second stage, mobile phone traffic in the metropolitan area decreased by 10.5% compared to the previous weekend and the national traffic decreased by 11%.

Efforts to refrain from outside activities, such as going out, are prominent.

Authorities stressed that they should not relax and follow quarantine regulations as the infection spreads through various routes such as nurseries and saunas after being transmitted through foods that are difficult to wear masks.

The government struggles to come up with countermeasures, saying that if Corona 19’s spread continues, there may be a shortage of critically ill beds in the next two to three weeks.
