It was confirmed that the bell at the end of the fourth period rang earlier than scheduled due to the error of the officer in charge at a SAT testing center in Seoul.

The school gave me more time, but the examinees are outraged by the damage due to the different coping methods for each test site.

A high school in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, where 680 students took the SAT.

3:58 pm, when the first area of ​​scientific research was in full swing.

The scheduled finish time is 4pm, but two minutes earlier, the finish bell suddenly rang at all test sites.

Students who were solving problems on time or marking the answer sheet were very confused.

It turned out that the officer in charge of Shutdown Bell made a mistake, but the management team at the site immediately identified the error and announced that the test time was extended to 4: 2.

[서울시 교육청 관계자 : A 고등학교 방송을 담당하는 선생님이 있을 거예요. 그분이 잘못 맞춰놓은 것 같아요. 2분 세팅이 먼저 돼 있었나 봐요.]

The problem was the answer that was different for each supervisor.

In some testing centers, I knew it was a mistake and I took the test without walking the tests, but there was a place where the tests were collected as soon as the bell rang at 58 minutes and handed them back to you after the announcement.

As soon as the test paper was received, the exit bell rang again and the candidate said that the problem could not be solved.

There were a number of voices complaining of resentment, such as those of the examinees who were so embarrassed that they had been ruined until fifth period.

[피해 수험생 학부모 : 시험지를 걷고 바로 다음 과학탐구 시험을 들어가는데 그걸 애들이 그때부터 흔들린 거죠.]

The Seoul Metropolitan Bureau of Education said it would consider disciplinary action, saying it had warned the school and its officials.

However, as we have already given it more time, it is difficult to find a separate remedy.

Candidates and parents are discussing whether to take legal action against the school district and the school.
