For two weeks from today, all classes in all grades of middle and high schools in central Seoul have been remotely switched.

Gyeonggi-do and Incheon elementary, middle and high schools, where social distancing has been upgraded to 2.5 steps, should limit the number of attendance to a third.

There are many tools for children to experiment and face-to-face classes.

However, as of today, the class was changed to a remote class, and now classes are held in a real-time chat mode via a computer screen.

If done remotely, the concentration of students will inevitably decrease.

To avoid this, the school proceeds according to the regular class schedule and teachers also monitor attendance every hour.

Also, even if there are no students, teachers lead the classes in the classroom and, as a rule, interactive communication is possible.

Even after the announcement that all grades in all grades of middle and high schools in Seoul City will convert to distance classes last Friday, teachers said they were not moved.

It is because I have become so used to it now that both the teacher and the student have taught distance classes and face-to-face classes.

Starting tomorrow, kindergartens and elementary, middle and high schools in the metropolitan area will be limited to less than a third of the attendance.

In the non-metropolitan area, which has been upgraded to the second stage, the number of attendance at kindergarten, elementary school and basic secondary school should be one third in principle, and secondary schools should keep less than two thirds.

However, depending on the region or school conditions, kindergartens and primary and secondary schools can increase attendance to less than two-thirds of maximum capacity.

The Ministry of Education also directed each school to adjust the assessment schedule and plan to ensure that student assessments and records at the end of the semester go smoothly.

Furthermore, every city and provincial bureau of education repeatedly urged every city and provincial bureau of education to avoid creating gaps in education or care due to the expansion of distance classes.

Along with this, since the social distancing has been upgraded to step 2.5, the operation of private institutes between the general management facilities will be completely stopped.

There was no content ban on the academy in the 2.5 quarantine measures proposed by the government previously, but these measures were added to reduce the departure of students on vacation.

However, classes for college entrance exams are allowed considering the college entrance exam schedule for the 2021 school year.
