Were residents who caused social resentment through ‘security guard GapJil’ finally sentenced to prison?

The first trial sentence for assaulted resident A, who was put on trial for assaulting and threatening an apartment security guard, was carried out this morning at the Seoul Northern District Court.

The judge sentenced Mr. A to five years in prison.

Mr. A was charged with retaliation, injury, retaliation, battery, injury, innocence, attempted coercion and threats.

The court found all of these charges guilty.

The judge noted that Mr. A’s crime was so serious that it required severe punishment and noted that the victim appears to have suffered severe mental suffering.

After that, even looking at the attitude that Mr. A displayed in the investigating agency or in the court statement, it is hard to believe that he seriously reflected on his guilt.

The reason for the sentence was that the grieving family requested severe punishment because it could not be forgiven by the victim’s family.

The court’s recommendation in the Supreme Court sentencing standards is between 1 year and 3 years and 8 months in prison.

He was sentenced to a severe 5-year prison sentence for the decision to go beyond the recommended sentence range by combining various circumstances.

Previously, the prosecution demanded 9 years in prison, saying that severe punishment was necessary because Mr. A did not reflect at all on the decision of the trial held on the 7th.

Did the perpetrator’s residents deny his allegations even at the last trial by decision?

Resident A was charged with assaulting Choi in April for moving his double-parked car with his hand by the late security guard Hee-Seok Choi.

After that, it was investigated that Mr. A continued to attack and threaten Mr. Choi.

In particular, he is also accused of fracturing his nose bone by taking him to a security room without CCTV in order to retaliate against Choi reporting to the police.

At that time, Mr. A insisted on the bilateral assault and attached a false medical certificate to Mr. Choi for medical treatment.

It turns out that Choi has filed a false complaint claiming that his reputation was damaged by lying.

The charges against Mr. A range from retaliation and imprisonment, injury, battery, and innocence.

Mr. A’s assault and threats led Choi to make an extreme decision, but Mr. A ultimately denied his accusations.

In the final statement of the judgment of the trial held on the 7th, Mr. A said that he had never performed irrational actions such as hitting the deceased’s nose with a fist or squeezing it with a hat.

He also denied that he had not even described the deceased as “obligated.”

In response, the prosecution requested 9 prison terms, saying that Mr. A did not reflect on the crime and was showing sophistry that the deceased was beaten by his brother.

The court also accepted most of these views and sentenced them to medium sentences.
