The metropolitan area and Gangwon-do already practically met the criteria for increasing social distancing in the average number of confirmed cases per week.

It continues to rise after 205 people on the 14th and 208 people on the 15th.

At a cafe in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, five more were confirmed since the first outbreak of patients on the 14th, and seven more were added at Gangseo-gu hospital, resulting in 17 cases.

In addition, group infections continued across the country, including nursing homes for the disabled in Cheorwon, Gangwon province, prayer centers in Eumseong, Chungbuk, family gatherings in Cheongsong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and restaurants in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do.
