The number of new confirmed corona19 cases fell below 50 for the first time in 17 days.

However, the number of movements during the weekend is on the rise and tomorrow (17) is the first weekend since social distancing is alleviated, making quarantine authorities appear tense.

The number of new confirmed cases from 110 the day before fell to 47, less than half in one day.

This is the minimum number since the 29th of the last month.

However, quarantine authorities are tense as the number of movements over the weekend has increased due to the fall foliage season.

Last weekend (10-11), when the second stage of social distancing was maintained, mobile phone traffic across the country increased by 7.8% compared to the previous weekend (3-4).

The metropolitan area increased 11.3%.

The use of public transport in the metropolitan area also increased 23.3% compared to the previous weekend.

Quarantine authorities believe outside activities will increase further this weekend, which is the first time after reducing the distance.

According to the National Park Service, there were 43.18 million visitors to the national park last year, of which October accounted for the largest number of 5.59 million.

In November, the second most common number, there are more than 10 million people.

For this reason, the government will strengthen the quarantine by establishing the period from this weekend to November 15, the peak of autumn leaves, as the ‘intensive quarantine management period’.
