Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon was discharged 16 days after receiving confirmation from Corona 19.

Upon leaving the hospital, he volunteered for a press conference and accused the government of carrying out a fraudulent act that removed all responsibility.

Public opinion is eager to redeem the former pastor, who appears to feel no responsibility for the reproliferation of the infectious disease, but the court has yet to reach a conclusion on whether to cancel the bail.

Previously, Pastor Jeon was arrested on charges of conducting a pre-election campaign before the 21 general election, and after being released on bail, a controversy arose when he attended the Liberation Day rally last month.

The prosecution believes that the former pastor has violated the condition of the bond that he must not attend an illegal meeting in connection with an indictment.

On the other hand, the former pastor’s position was that the assembly at that time was not related to election-related cases and was not illegal as it was approved by the court.

In the end, whether or not the former pastor’s bail will be canceled appears to be a problem if the demonstration at the time, when many more people gathered than originally reported, was beyond the limits allowed by the court and was illegal. .

In addition, beyond the facts that the former pastor obstructed the quarantine, it must be legally proven that the details of the specific statements made in the assembly are related to the case at trial, that is, the alleged violation of the Elections Law of Public workers.

As the court continued to fight, the prosecution submitted an opinion to the court requesting an early decision on whether or not to cancel the bond because the former pastor was released.

The former pastor will also prepare additional opinions over the weekend after reviewing the materials submitted by the prosecution.

The court has not yet decided on a date for the questioning to directly hear the views of both parties, and the possibility of deciding whether to cancel the bond arises by reviewing only the data presented.

As Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon continues to criticize quarantine authorities after being released from the hospital, the courts are expected to reach a conclusion sooner or later as voices in favor of redemption mount.
