The number of confirmed cases increased by 39 from the day before to 24,703. There were 68 internal outbreaks and 29 foreign entries. It has been in double digits for five days, but it is an awkward situation. Regarding the current situation by region in Korea, more than 70% were concentrated in the metropolitan area, with 29 in Seoul, 16 in Gyeonggi and 3 in Incheon. Outside the metropolitan area, 13 confirmed cases were found in Daejeon, where a group infection occurred in a nursery.
