The court also invested 30 million won of the 50 million won deposit the former pastor paid when he was released on bail.
The judge explained that the former pastor had canceled the bond for violating the conditions established by the court.
When bail was posted in April, he was not allowed to participate in an illegal gathering or demonstration.
The Liberation Day rally was singled out as the main cause of Crown 19 reproliferation in the metropolitan area, and public opinion for the redemption was infested, but the court took more than 20 days to reach this conclusion.
As the former pastor was confirmed and hospitalized by Corona 19, and the assembly was approved by the Seoul Administrative Court, it appears that the court’s complaint dragged on.
The pastor’s side immediately appealed the court’s decision to cancel the bail and also requested the execution of the arrest.
However, as long as no sentence is handed down in this regard, the former pastor must be tried in case of violation of the Law on Elections of Public Officials while he is in detention.
Meanwhile, conservative groups predict a full-scale assembly on the first day of Liberation Day next month after Liberation Day last month, the police ban it, and another court battle is expected.
The successive confirmations of the participants and the cancellation of the bond against Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon are expected to have a significant impact on the court’s judgment at the opening ceremony.
