A special security guard was put on duty the day before the release of sex offender Cho Doo-soon.

Police officers monitor the residence 24 hours a day and reinforce the patrol.

The area where Cho Doo-soon will live.

Patrol cars are stopped and uniformed patrols roam the alleys.

Two guard posts went into operation the day before Cho Doo-soon’s release.

Police officers, like riot control officers, patrol the area around the residence from time to time.

Ansan City also added a separate petition police, and recently, six new martial arts officers were selected.

At the town hall guard post, three petition policemen form a group and enter the four shifts.

They are patrolling 24 hours a day.

After 15 additional CCTV installations, more than 20 new CCTVs are expected to be operational by the end of the year.

The security CCTV is monitored by 36 dedicated employees in the control center.

As there are many kindergartens, kindergartens and primary schools in the vicinity, patrols are also being strengthened.

School police officers and police booth personnel were assigned to three nearby elementary schools on time

Two of the children’s facilities are covered by four social workers.

There are only 60 kindergartens within 1 km of the Jo Doo-soon residence.

However, there are only 3 nurseries designated as child protection zones with more than 100 people.

The revision of the Electronic Device Connection Law, the so-called Cho Doo-soon Law, prevented sex offenders from accessing these areas, but there are few daycare centers that comply with the regulations.

In response, the city of Ansan announced that it would increase the designation of child protection zones in consultation with the police.

[강 모 씨 / 부근 주민 : 학교도 가까이 있고 바로 앞에 어린이집도 있고. 불안한 건 사실이에요. 경찰이 와서 (순찰)한다고 해도 문제는 그 사람이 어떤 일을 저지를지 아무도 모르잖아요.]

All the related organizations were very aware and prepared various management measures, but the residents were still worried, and Jo Doo will soon return to his residence in Ansan.
