A new group infection occurred at an alternative boarding school in Daejeon, and the number of new confirmed corona 19 cases reached 400 in two days.

On the 28th, the government will officially announce a plan to implement vaccines on who will receive the vaccine and when.

Can you tell us the current status of the new corona19 patients?

At 0 o’clock today, 437 new cases were confirmed.

It increased by 45 people over the previous day and reached the 400 mark in two days.

Regarding the route of infection, 405 people were infected in Korea and 32 people came from abroad.

When looking at domestic infections by region, only 176 people in the metropolitan area, including 91 in Seoul, 72 in Gyeonggi and 13 in Incheon.

Of these, 43 were positive in the temporary screening test in the metropolitan area.

In non-metropolitan areas, Daejeon, where group infection broke out in alternative boarding schools, was the most common with 125 students.

This was followed by 19 in Busan, 15 in Gwangju, 14 in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and 13 in Chungnam.

Of the 32 foreign entries, 11 were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The number of people who died from Corona 19 increased by 11 to a cumulative 1,360.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased from 7 to 275.

The government has decided to unveil the plan for the corona19 vaccination on the 28th, right?

The ‘Corona 19 Vaccination Response Advocacy Team’, involving the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will confirm and announce the vaccination plan on the 28th.

We will disclose detailed plans and schedules, such as who will get vaccinated first and when to start and end vaccination for each goal.

Currently, the government has signed vaccine purchase contracts with Kovacs and AstraZeneca, and has insured 56 million people.

In addition, a contract with Nova Bax is being advanced to incorporate 20 million more people.

First, 50,000 Pfizer vaccines are the most likely vaccines to arrive next month.

In the order of vaccination, medical staff and the elderly in nursing hospitals come first.

Subsequently, the elderly, adults with chronic diseases, and child and adolescent day care workers are being considered for priority vaccination.
