The government made highway tolls paid during the Chuseok holidays, right?

[기자]

The Security and Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters recommended that they refrain from visiting their places of origin and relatives as much as possible to prevent Chuseok.

In order to reduce the amount of traffic on the highways during the Chuseok period, it was announced that it will convert road tolls that were exempt from Chuseok in 2017 into a paid fee.

Consequently, from the 30th to the 2nd of the following month, you will have to pay the highway toll for the three days of Chuseok vacation.

Quarantine authorities hope this will reduce movement between regions and curb unnecessary traffic.

Revenues from the three-day toll will be used for public interest purposes to respond to Corona 19, including support for quarantine personnel and supplies in rest areas.
