The key question that will determine whether or not he will be disciplined by President Yoon Seok-yeol is the so-called “Judge Inspection Suspected” document.

Of the eight witnesses adopted by the disciplinary committee, four, or half, are involved in the accusations.

This includes the head of the department that wrote the document, the person who reported that it was the reason for the inspection, and the prosecutor in charge who attempted a face-to-face investigation with President Yoon and revealed the suspected omission in the internal report.

A fierce battle is expected over whether the collection of the information recorded in the document is illegal, how the document was created and used under the direction of whoever was written, as well as whether the initiation of the inspection and the processing process were legal.

There are also several witnesses related to allegations of interfering with the Channel A case investigation, which has been extended due to the allegation of “ probate confusion, ” and there are also witnesses who will examine procedural flaws throughout the impeachment process. and disciplinary claim.

Seven of the eight adopted Witnesses were introduced by President Yoon, but not all were favorable to him.

There are the same number of witnesses who will argue with contradictory purposes on the establishment of charges of disciplinary action for President Yoon.

However, there is no legal way to force attendance. First, the close witnesses next to Yoon such as Chief Prosecutor Son Jun-sung and Park Young-jin are more willing to attend.

Prosecutor Ryu-hyuk, who was in charge of the prosecutor’s office at the Ministry of Justice, but who was controversial for having been ‘passed’ during this inspection, also expressed his willingness to attend.

As for the number of witnesses expected to attend, it may be a playground inclined to President Yoon, and there are observations that Minister Choo Mi-ae may also request the assistance of Attorney General Lee Seong-yoon or the Supreme Prosecutor Han Dong-soo.

Although he is expected to attend the disciplinary committee as a closing representative for Minister Chu, it appears that it remains to be seen who will benefit from the actual testimony.

In the internal discussions of the first day of the disciplinary committee, it was reported that there were voices calling for conclusions on the following date, but there is a high possibility of designating an additional period since witnesses can make unexpected comments and the opinion that the right of defense to the greatest extent possible.
