Elections to elect the president of the United States generally go smoothly.

Depending on the time difference and weekly voting hours, it will begin to close at 8 a.m. our time, and everything will be finished around 2 p.m. when the westernmost Alaska ends.

The outlines of the elected winners are likely to be captured in the late afternoon, when voting and counting takes place from the eastern states, which are struggling with the battlefields.

Let’s connect Washington and learn more. Correspondent Taewook Kang!

First, let’s look at the status of the vote.

In general, it means that there is no big problem with being fluent, right?

Voting began in two places, including Dixville Notch, a small town in New Hampshire, as of 2 p.m. yesterday in our time.

Voting in earnest took place in the eastern state, where most states are concentrated, starting at 5 a.m. local time.

The time here is past 6pm.

In the next hour or so, the vote for the eastern state, which has a major battlefield, is expected to end.

However, in North Carolina, one of the most competitive states, the closing time was extended by 30 minutes due to delays in opening some polling places, and in Georgia, two polling stations were delayed, which resulted in a 40-minute extension of voting time.

However, due to some extensions in both states, the general status of the voting will be reported at 7 pm and 9 pm our hours.

The major American broadcasters announce exit polls, right?

[기자]

CNN and NBC, ABC and CBS have formed and operated the ‘American Election Pool’.

Exit polls are not conducted in all 50 states, but in more than 20 states of interest, including competing states.

Since there is a time difference per region and the voting deadline varies from week to week, it will be broadcast sequentially accordingly.

The most interesting places are Florida, which has the most electoral bodies among the contending states, and North Carolina, the supercontest state.

The deadline for voting is 7 and 7:30 here, respectively, so the exit poll is expected to air around 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. our later time.

Below, five fierce battles, including Ohio and Minnesota, which have emerged as the second front, are scheduled to be launched from 7 to 9 a.m.

When the exit polls of the competitors and the owners of the second front line come out, the profile of the winner will be determined to some extent.

How are President Trump and candidate Biden moving?

[기자]

President Trump stopped by this morning at a polling place near Washington, DC.

I met the officers and comforted my hard work, such as preparing for the field campaign.

I also appeared on Fox News.

I hope to exceed the 306 electoral bodies insured four years ago.

Candidate Biden visited his hometown with his granddaughters.

The place where I was born and lived in my childhood is the city of Scranton, Pennsylvania, where I am a matchmaker.

After passing through Philadelphia, the largest city, we plan to cheer on officials in Wilmington, Delaware, where our home and polling place are located, and observe the counts.
