The President of the United States, Donald Trump, appointed the Judge of the Seventh Federal Court of Appeals, Amy Connie Barrett, to replace the American Judge Ruth Vader Ginsburg, who died on the 18th.

Candidate for Justice Barrett was born in 1972 and has been classified as a conservative, opponent of abortion.

If a conservative candidate, Barrett, is named successor to Ginsburg, who has been called the icon of progress, the ideological makeup of the Supreme Court Justice is expected to have an absolute conservative advantage with 6 conservatives and 3 progressives.

The opposition Democratic Party insists that the president, who was elected in the November 3 presidential election, must nominate a successor.

However, CNN reports that the ruling majority and Senate Republican Party has plans to complete the Senate approval process for Barrett before the election.

The US media say that the Senate hearing for Barrett will begin on the 12th of next month.

If this happens, the hearing on Barrett’s candidate will take place within 16 days of the nomination.

Considering that since 1975, hearings for the approval of the Supreme Court candidate have been held on average 43 days after the Senate was notified of the fact of the nomination, the Republican Party is advancing rapidly.

CNN also reported that Republicans plan to vote for approval by October 29 after the hearings end.

Voting applies when the presidential election has not been left for just one week.

If the Republican plan goes ahead, the approval process will be completed within a month after the nomination for Supreme Court Justice.

It took an average of 71 days to complete the previous Supreme Court approval process.

CNN predicts that “the appointment of a new Supreme Court justice before the elections could have a significant impact on the Supreme Court’s decision on health insurance or electoral disputes in the future.
