In Japan, the number of new confirmed corona19 cases exceeded the highest for two consecutive days.

Although the Japanese government’s response to Corona 19 was late, several measures have not been effective in the environment at the end of the year.

Let’s start with the infection situation in Japan.

The number of new confirmed cases on day two is the highest, but don’t you see any signs of sinking?

[기자]

The number of newly infected people in Japan was 3,740 yesterday according to NHK’s tally.

They were 460 more than the previous day, registering the highest number of confirmed cases since the second day of the crown crisis.

In particular, about 900 confirmed cases a day came out in Tokyo.

The governor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Koike, heard that the number of inspections was high.

In Tokyo alone, the prospect of surpassing 1,000 confirmed cases a day is gradually becoming a reality.

In three prefectures, such as Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama, near the metropolitan area with center in Tokyo, the highest number of confirmed cases per day came out.

There is also the possibility that a mutant virus originating in the UK has been introduced into Japan, which has been highly controversial.

On the 16th, a man in his 30s who returned home from England was confirmed positive.

Health officials are investigating whether the man has been infected with a highly contagious mutant virus.

Although the Japanese government has recently introduced countermeasures against the coronavirus, it is showing no effect.

It is also Christmas in Japan, so what is the atmosphere like in the city?

[기자]

In Japan, there are many companies that are closed from Christmas to the end of the year.

Since the number of confirmed cases has risen rapidly every day, the crowds on the street have decreased somewhat recently.

However, compared to the moment of the emergency last spring, the tension has clearly lessened.

In particular, decorative lights are installed that illuminate the streets at night in various places in Tokyo, attracting people who want to take commemorative photographs.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has even requested that these lights be turned on until 8 pm to prevent the spread of the infection.

It was on October 30, about 10 months after the start of the crown crisis, that the cumulative number of infected people in Japan surpassed 100,000.

However, it took less than two months to double the number of infected on the 21st, which exceeded 200,000.

The number of confirmed patients per day is 10 times higher than last spring, when an emergency was declared.

The Japanese government’s response and individual sense of crisis cannot keep up with the trend of increasing serious infections.

Prime Minister Suga predicts a press conference to the public on Corona 19 tonight.

With the late response and approval rating dropping significantly, attention is being paid to which position to take.
