[국제]French teacher who teaches ‘freedom of expression’ is beheaded on the street and ‘shocked’

In France, a teacher who satirizes the Muslim founder Muhammad during a history class was brutally murdered in the street and it is shocking.

French society is outraged by the terrible terror of Islamic extremists against teachers who teach “freedom of speech”.

This is the site of the body of a high school history teacher, Samuel Petit, who was brutally murdered around 5 pm on the 16th local time.

The suspect was shot dead by police at the scene while fleeing with a weapon.

The suspect is an 18-year-old from Chechnya who is said to have shouted the phrase from the Koran meaning “God is the greatest.”

President Macron, who visited the scene of the incident, declared the incident a terror and urged them to fight Islamic extremist terrorism.

Earlier this month, Master Petit is said to have shown a critique of Charly Evdo, a weekly magazine that satirizes the Prophet Muhammad while giving a history class on the subject of free speech.

Also, it is known that they considered leaving the classroom as it might be offensive to Islamic students before showing the problem.

However, some parents expressed their dissatisfaction with the teacher on social media and strongly objected.

The police are also arresting and investigating the parents on suspicion that the suspect planned the crime after receiving the news through social media.

In France, terrorist attacks by Islamic extremists have been going on for several years.

In January 2015, the French weekly Charlie Evdo reported on a satirical criticism of Muhammad and he was shot by Islamic extremists, killing 12 people, including the editor and the writer.

Late last month, a Pakistani man wounded two people with a gun near the former office building in Charlie Evdo.
