After Pfizer, Modena also announced the results of an interim clinical trial that the vaccine under development has a great effect on preventing COVID-19, with inoculation expected to be possible within a year.

Consequently, amid fierce competition for vaccines in individual countries, Europe, where the spread is severe, is showing a particularly active movement.

Modena and Pfizer.

Two new vaccines from the two companies for a week have been reported to be effective in preventing COVID-19 by more than 90%.

Based on this, Pfizer plans to apply for emergency use approval with the US Food and Drug Administration FDA late this month, next month, and early next month.

The FDA’s oversight body, Health and Welfare Minister Alix Aza, said he would decide whether to approve it as soon as possible.

In addition to the two vaccines, more than 10 species are currently in phase 3, so more vaccines are expected in the first half of next year.

In the beginning, many countries have signed competitive contracts with pharmaceutical companies to secure quantities from the beginning of vaccine development.

As a result, countries in North America and the Middle East have signed many contracts with Pfizer, with Modena and the US, the EU, Japan, Mexico and the UK.

Once approved, it will serve tens of millions to hundreds of millions of people.

However, this amount alone is not reasonable and, as commercialization is imminent, competition for vaccines is intensifying.

The EU is also struggling to penetrate further up the supply chain.

The EU, which decided to receive products from global pharmaceutical companies such as Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sanofi and Glaxos Miscline, even agreed to buy products in development by biopharmaceutical companies.

Great Britain, the world’s seventh largest Corona 19 country, also had high expectations for the production of a vaccine jointly developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford during the year.

4 hours have passed since the news of the 94.5% prevention effect was announced.
