Gangneung City, Gangwon, which has recorded the highest number of confirmed corona19 every day, announced that it is also considering raising the social distancing to the third stage on the 12th, as it is taking all measures to block the radio waves in the region.
Gangneung City (Mayor Han-geun Kim) held an emergency press conference in the second floor conference room of Gangneung City Hall on the afternoon of the 12th, saying, “If the government increases social distancing in the metropolitan area to 3 stages, Gangneung City will be upgraded to stage 3, which is strengthened. ” Revealed (current step 2.5).

Mayor Kim said: “Recently, the number of contacts has increased significantly due to the rapid increase in confirmed cases, so there is a limit for the staff at the health center, so we ask for cooperation in Gangneung Asan Hospital even if It costs money”. He said: “This weekend is an important time for quarantine, so I ask you to show citizenship.”
Gangneung City updated its social distancing to step 2.5, which was reinforced when a cluster of 21 confirmed cases came out on the 11th. However, as the number of infected teenagers at school increased rapidly, on the 12th the academies were suspended. and educational centers in the building from noon on the 12th until 24:00 on the 17th. However, the reading room is open until 21:00.
