Katy Perry is making things clear when it comes to whether she and her fiance, Orlando Bloom, have chosen Jennifer Aniston to be the godmother to their daughter.
The 35-year-old pregnant singer recently appeared on KIIS1065’s Kyle and Jackie O show and asked about the rumor. While she said that she and Bloom, 43, were really friends with Aniston, 51, she shared that this particular rumor is not true, and that everyone is actually amused.
“She texted us because we are friendly to her and Orlando is one of her good friends,” said Perry. “And we thought, ‘Wow, this is a wild rumor.'”
“God knows he has said everything about her,” he continued about Aniston. “But I guess it’s a funny rumor. But no, we have no idea where it came from.”
Perry also gave an update on the pregnancy, sharing that it is at the point where “everything is bloated.” Still, she said she has been kept busy while in quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am a very active woman … and during this time of COVID, and frankly an American revolution, I have also been releasing songs and heading to release an album,” she said. “I am working very hard. The only blessing is that I don’t have to travel extremely.”
“I like not to see the hands of time go by,” he added. “I like being a mother on the move.”
