Jurnee Smollett says that ahead of her upcoming HBO series, Lovecraft Country, she has only been on one set where she was not sexually harassed. Smollett shared her story during a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“I do not know that I can say with confidence that I used to work on one job Lovecraft – from the time I was 12 – where I had not been sexually harassed, or it was by a [assistant director], a co-star, director, producer … “she said.

At 33, Smollett had a successful career in Hollywood. She’s in the star Eve’s Bayou, The Great Debators (2007), e.g. Friday night lights en True blood.

“Like, a man who said before we did this love scene, ‘Hey, your tits are going to hang in the wind,’ is not OK, ‘she said, before revealing that she was away from a project, to’ t the abuse was so bad. “And they let me out.”

“And I do not apologize,” she said. “I will be like, ‘Listen, this meeting with false axes we have, I will now raise my hand and let you guys know that the standards they set are minimal.’ “
