Ireland Baldwin reminds her fans to wait and remain conscious after being attacked by a woman who was “desperate” for money and “high out of her mind.”
The 24’1 “model, 24, took to Instagram to share the traumatic experience, including two photos of the large bruise on her right cheek after the exchange.
“Yesterday afternoon I was attacked by a woman who was high on her thoughts about drugs and desperate for cash,” Baldwin began. “She covered me in my face in a parking lot and took my belongings and jumped into a getaway car while her husband stepped up.”
It was not immediately clear where the attack took place.
Baldwin – the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger – said others in the neighborhood soon came to her aid. Police eventually arrested the culprit.
“The police told me this often happens because people are currently desperate for money because of Coronavirus and people are out of work,” she continued. “There is a lot of theft and mosquitoes down. Post this to remind everyone to be really careful and watch your surroundings. These are really difficult times and we have to look out for each other. ”
