Former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris brought notice to President Donald Trump after his brother, Robert Trump, died Saturday night.
After being hospitalized, Robert Trump, the president’s youngest brother, died at the age of 71. Sources told ABC News he was “very ill.”
Trump said late Saturday night in a statement that his brother “was not only my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again.”

Early Sunday morning, Biden and former Second Lady Jill Biden expressed sympathy with the president.
“I know the great pain of losing a loved one – and I know how important family is in moments like these,” Biden forced. “I hope you know that our prayers are with you all.”

Five years ago, Biden’s son, former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, died at the age of 46, while battling brain cancer.
In fact, Biden’s new running mate Senator Harris offered her to Trump.
“Doug and I are joining the Biden family in sending our deepest sympathies and prayers to the entire Trump family during this difficult time,” Harris said, retweeting the Biden commission. “Losing a loved one is never easy, but know that we care about you.”
