Illinois Judge Bond denied for Army Special Forces soldier, who was accused of killing three people and injuring three others in Bling Ling Alley on Saturday.

Duke Webb, 37, said he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder during a hearing in Vinebego County Video Court, according to his attorney. He faces three counts of murder and a three-degree first-degree murder attempt in connection with a shooting at Don Carter Lens in Rockford.

Webb joined the Army in 2008 and served four deployments in Afghanistan, ending very recently in July, according to the Army. He is a Special Forces Auxiliary Operations and Intelligence Sergeant assigned to Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

The commander of the 1st Special Forces Command, Major General John Brennan, said in a statement: ”

Webb was on leave when the shooting happened. His lawyer said he would do a mental health assessment, according to the Rockford Register Star.

The dead were identified as Thomas Farseth, 65, Jerome Woodfork, 69, and Dennis Steinhoff by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office. Also, a 14-year-old boy was shot in the face and remained in a stable hospital. The condition and a 16-year-old girl were treated and released from the hospital after being shot in the shoulder.

A 62-year-old man sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was in critical condition. Webb has no known relationship with the victims, authorities said.

His arrest was scheduled for February 16.
