Capital Concerts will present a presentation of the 40th anniversary of their July 4 tradition on PBS, A fourth capitol.
Hosted by John Stamos and Vanessa Williams, the 90-minute virtual event will feature performances by Patti LaBelle, John Fogerty, Renée Fleming, The Temptations, Trace Adkins, Andy Grammer, Yolanda Adams, Brantley Gilbert, Lauren Alaina, Chrissy Metz, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Kelli O’Hara, Mandy González and the National Symphony Orchestra.
There will also be live fireworks from Washington DC and, according to the website, “a tribute to our nation’s frontline workers in the fight against the pandemic, a segment honoring the contributions of past and present African American heroes. of our nation. ” and greetings to our wounded warriors and their families. “
