U.S. The presidential election is still close to being called. Here we know about the rest of the states that, along with the length of the Associated Press vote, are still calling for former Vice President Joe Biden or President Donald Trump.
The shortest winning margin would be if Biden wins Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin and Trump takes another outstanding race, giving the former vice president at least 270.
Pennsylvania, With 20 electoral votes: With a 64% report, Trump has a 54.5% -44.4% lead. The majority of votes are expected to be counted by Friday.
Georgia, 16 Votes: With a 94% report, Trump has a lead of 50.5% to 48.3%. Results from the state were delayed due to a pipe burst at the State Farm Arena, where the counting was being conducted. Georgia officials are hoping for a result Wednesday.
Michigan, 16 Votes: With the %%% report, Biden has advanced with a lead of 49.4% to 49.1%. A Michigan official said he expected to get a “very clear picture” if the final results were not forthcoming by Wednesday night.
North Carolina, 15 Votes: With a 94% count, Trump has a lead of .10.1% to – 48..7%. Ballots there will be accepted until November 12, until they are postmarked by election day.
Wisconsin, 10 Electoral Votes: With 95% reported, Biden has a 49.6%-to-48.9% lead. Results are expected on Wednesday.
Nevada, 6 Votes: With 67% reported, Biden has a 49.2%-to-48.6% lead. Nevada is still counting the mail-in ballots received on election day, which are due in the coming weeks, and is a provisional ballot.
Alaska, 3 Votes: With a 36% count, Trump has risen from 62.9% to 33%.
Second District of Maine, 1 Vote: The final vote has not yet been called in Maine’s second congressional district. With 88%, Democrat, Jared Golden, Republican, Dale Crafts, lead from 53.2% to 46.8%.
