Heath Slater made a surprise appearance tonight at Impact’s pay-per-event Slammiversary.
Slater jumped over the railing after a game on Saturday and stepped into the ring to cut a promotion. “They promised surprises, well … SURPRISE,” he said.
Heath then spoke about The Rascalz’s open challenge, which had already been answered earlier in the evening by Motor City Machine Guns, and suggested that he wanted to be a part of it.
Slater then spoke about the mystery person who will fight in the main event later in the evening and said to sign him up. He also said that he came to Impact to do an Impact.
The former WWE star was interrupted by Rohit Raji, who called Heath for being hit by Drew McIntyre on Raw this month without specifically mentioning it. The two quarreled and Heath finished above all else.
Heath also met Rhino in the backstage during the show, prompting Scott D’Amore to walk and remind him that he doesn’t actually work there. Then he asked Heath to leave because it is a closed complex due to the pandemic. However, Rhino told Slater to report to the building on Tuesday and to call him when he is outside.
