Zoe Laskari was born in Thessaloniki, on December 12, 1944. Zoe Laskari was married to the well-known lawyer Alexandros Lykourezos and since 1976 they have a daughter, Maria – Eleni (ex-wife of the actor Apostolos Gletsos). From his previous marriage to Petros Koutoumanos, he had another daughter, Martha (who had married Vlassi Bonazzo).
The beloved actress whose real name was Zoe Kouroukli, in 1959 at the age of 16 she was crowned Star Hellas and this was the reason why Giannis Dalianidis chose her as the protagonist of the film “The Descent” in 1961.
The success of the film made her one of the biggest stars of the time and a permanent star of Greek cinema, signing an exclusive contract with the largest Greek production company, Finos Film. Since then he has starred in great movie hits and in all kinds of films (comedies, dramas and musicals) during the golden age of Greek cinema.
Philopimen Finos chose not to keep her real last name, so as not to be confused with her first cousin Zoe Kouroukli, who was already a well-known singer. The last name Laskaris was chosen by Giannis Dalianidis from a street name in Kypseli.
