Yesterday there was a violent verbal incident between Alexis Kougia, Dimitris Lignadis’ lawyer, and the investigator Paraskevi Botsi, who suggested the preventive detention of the former artistic director of the National Theater.
Yesterday morning, Alexis Kougias was informed by the brother of his client, Giannis Lignadis, that the journalist Petros Kousoulos mentioned in the panel of the morning television program that is being investigated in the home of the former artistic director of the National Theater. Then, at the suggestion of Alexis Kougia, the actor’s brother went to Dimitris Lignadis’s apartment building, where he found that the police had transported boxes with his brother’s files from the department store to the rooftop. Giannis Lignadis asked the police to show him the permission of the prosecutor for this investigation. The police officers avoided responding to him and refused to speak to Dimitris Lignadis’s lawyer, Alexis Kougia, on the phone. Alexis Kougias then asked the actor’s brother to videotape the investigations carried out by the police.

According to eyewitnesses, Alexis Kougias even told the investigator that “with these practices you will go to prison,” recalling that “Mrs. Bourboulia, the only current investigator who has gone to prison, once sat in this office.” He even told her that Bourboulia went to jail after his own complaints.
The interrogator then asked Alexis Kougia to leave his office, he refused and the interrogator allegedly said “since you are not leaving, I will leave”. Before the impasse, Alexis Kougias and the interrogator went to the office of the principal investigator and head of the Court of First Instance, Sofia Fourlari, to submit to arbitration, however, the chief was absent and the incident ended there.
This morning, Alexis Kougias would go to the office of the head of the Court of First Instance, Sofia Fourlari, to denounce “the illegal practices of the interrogator.”
According to more recent information, Ms Fourlari declared herself incompetent and made an appointment with Alexis Kougia with the court inspector and the vice president of the Supreme Court.
