The extension of the presentation of the patrimonial declarations, the definition of a special procedure for the appointment of a new court for the emergency measures to face the pandemic, but also the regulation of the disciplinary and judicial bodies of football, includes a modification of the Ministry of Justice, presented tonight.
The amendment was presented in the draft law of the Ministry of Development and Investment entitled “Adopt additional measures to apply Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of June 20, 2019, to promote fair treatment and transparency for commercial users, online mediation services (L 186), agreements for the Interservices Market Control Unit, the Competition Commission, the functioning of the market and other provisions “.
The specific bill will be put to a vote in the plenary session of Parliament next Tuesday, 11/17/2020.
This amendment provides the following:
1. The deadline for the presentation by debtors of the financial statements and financial interests is extended until 02/28/2021 (initially with the acquisition of debtor status in 2020 and annually of the same year), with the exception of the existing provisions (n. 3213/2003).
2. A special procedure is defined for the appointment of a new court, in the event that the discussion of the case is not ruled by the suspension of the civil courts in accordance with the aforementioned JMC, within the framework of taking measures emergency to protect public health from coronavirus.
3. Matters related to the disciplinary and judicial bodies of football are regulated, namely:
to. Single-member disciplines are recognized as primary and multi-member football disciplinary and judicial bodies, operating within the framework of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) and the Associations of Anonymous Football Companies, are recognized as secondary.
second. A provision is introduced on the duration of the mandate of judges who already serve in the mentioned bodies.
