Clear explanations of why citizens should be careful and respect them meters even after being vaccinated gives the Elijah Mosialos.
In a post on Facebook, Mr. Mosialos explains how vaccines work in our body and what is the difference between the vaccines that are circulating.
«Vaccines, as we have said, are not 100% effective, so some, few, can contract the virus even if they have been vaccinated.», says and adds: “None of the vaccines that are marketed in our country contain coronavirus. “By administering the vaccine, we obviously cannot transmit the coronavirus to others.”
The whole post of Elias Mosialos:
Vaccines protect against the virus, we do not get the virus.
Experts stress that we must be careful after him. vaccination us, because there is a risk of transmitting the disease to our family members and those with whom we associate.
You have to be careful for another reason: vaccines, as we have said, are not 100% effective, so some, few, can contract the virus even if they are vaccinated.
Especially in the first days after the first dose, when we still have, as studies show, less protection, that is, more chances of getting stuck. But until we get the second dose and another week passes, the coverage we have may not be complete.
But why is there this concern that while we are vaccinated we can transmit the virus?
Is it because the vaccine takes it coronavirus;
Not at all. None of the vaccines on the market in our country contains coronavirus. By vaccinating, we obviously cannot transmit the coronavirus to others.
Sinovac’s Chinese vaccines and Sinopharm for example, they contain inactivated, non-live viruses. That is, the inactivated virus cannot multiply after vaccination and cause disease. But let’s say again that an “outdated” vaccine, which contains this form of the virus, simply stimulates our body’s defenses and will protect us from getting sick if we contract the virus in the future. And of course remember that these Chinese vaccines that I mentioned are not licensed in our country.
So why is there concern? Because the virus continues to circulate. Some can contract the virus after we have been vaccinated.
What does the scientific data say about mass vaccinations? They say the vaccine will protect us enough not to get sick or, if we do get sick, get slightly sick.
But while we are protected, the virus can remain in our upper respiratory tract. But it cannot harm us, because we have had the vaccine
Most likely, even if we get stuck, we will not have large amounts of the virus after vaccination.
And most of us will have nothing. In some, however, if they get stuck, the virus will remain (in the upper respiratory tract). So if they don’t wear masks, it can be passed on to other people around them.
But if we are careful and do not spread the virus, we will not pass it on to others. This little case of transmission that I mentioned only exists if we spread the virus.
Therefore, if we live with people who belong to vulnerable groups, and these people have not been vaccinated while we have been, so we must continue to be careful. That is why until most people get vaccinated and we get immunity in the community, we have to follow public health guidelines. For a few more months.
