But is the same true for the government?

And if it wasn’t for N.D. in the government, but SYRIZA, the country would have been destroyed. Why?
Tsipras adds that:
“She’s fine. Legal power owners always do better than temporary tenants. What if they bankrupted the country and the memoranda? What if they failed to restore it with three different government schemes and SYRIZA handled it with a regulated debt and regained international credibility?
These don’t matter. It is important to imagine “what if” and shudder in terror. So today I thought about tempting myself to accept the challenge and imagine “what if”. In other words, if SYRIZA also faced this crisis from the government’s positions. “
Mr. Tsipras emphasizes that:
“So if the coronation found SYRIZA in the government, it is obvious that we would be quarantined, as in the rest of the world.” But in hospitals we would already have 4,000 more doctors and nurses, because the announcement of the appointments we had already planned would not have been frozen. We would also have many thousands more tests, directed at the entire population, by public research institutes and not mainly by private centers.
From the first days, there would be an introduction to personal protective equipment, while our priority would be its adaptation to medical and nursing personnel.
Our country would not be the last in the EU. in extraordinary expenses to support the Public Health System during the crisis period, as recently revealed by the WHO, but with expenses of one billion euros it would be very high in the corresponding table.
However, the most important thing is that the liquidity buffer of 37,000 million euros that we had created with more foresight to keep the economy afloat in a possible new crisis would have been used in a timely and horizontal manner.
The “We Stay Standing” front-loading program would be implemented from the earliest days of the pandemic, along with health protection measures, to halt the big downturn in the Greek economy and accelerate recovery. “
The first house
So Alexis Tsipras writes that:
“The world of work and business would be driven by a bold financial package of 26 billion euros, of which 14 billion would be direct fiscal interventions and the remaining 12 billion would be injections of liquidity through loan guarantees.
We would have financed $ 8 billion to support the workforce instead of suspending the contracts of private sector workers with their full pay and insurance coverage from the state. At the same time, we would support self-employed and self-employed workers with an amount per month equal to 1/12 of last year’s annual income.
The tax and insurance obligations of the affected companies would already be suspended for at least one semester. In addition, liabilities with banks would have been suspended for the duration of the health crisis. And 3,000 million non-reimbursable aid would have been granted to small and medium-sized enterprises and agricultural cooperatives, while we would have provided guarantees to the Greek state worth 12,000 million euros, respectively, according to the ECB program.
As was the case in 2019, SYRIZA would have extended the protection of the first house in the midst of such a crisis, and auctions would have been banned at least at the end of the year. Private sector workers would not receive subsidies as potential unemployed with 533 euros per month, but the State would pay them all their salary and the Easter gift.
Culture
Continuing, Alexis Tsipras refers to the support of the people of Culture:
“People of culture would not be invisible. Not only those with active contracts, but also those who work seasonally would receive effective support. In addition, a state-funded program of hundreds of cultural events across the country would have been activated, without overcrowding, and a special social program for books, film and theater would have been developed.
Immediate measures for the social welfare and solidarity of 300 million euros would have been taken and the unemployment benefit and special compensation for tourism people would have been expanded, while we would now be ready to present special programs of national subsidized tourism to cover part of the lost lawsuit
At the same time, disability benefits and social solidarity income would increase by 50%. A special social solidarity subsidy, such as a 1.5 billion dividend, would be awarded to cover workers in precarious jobs or block workers, with a trademark, but also with unsubsidized unemployed.
We would have a plan to avoid the collapse or strategic acquisitions of strategic companies, investing in their share capital, even through nationalization, but in strict terms of transparency and, of course, in exchange for a corresponding part of the economic entry into them. “
For Europe
Regarding Greece’s presence in Europe, Mr. Tsipras said: “At a European level, Greece would have been a pioneer in the effort to issue the Eurobono, not only as a tool to follow economic policy, but also as a basis for it would shape developments for the future of Europe. Thus, as in 2016, we had sought and succeeded in convening a Summit of Southern countries, for the first time in Athens, on our own initiative.
If SYRIZA were in government, Greek citizens would know how much money is left in the “pillow” we left in the summer of 2019 and where exactly it is going. And we would not follow the strategy of “see and do”, we would not keep the reserves in the coffers to finance in the end only strong companies and banks. SYRIZA’s finance minister would not give a different version of his predictions for the recession every day, nor would he implement just 6 billion of budget intervention to face the crisis, that is, only 3% of GDP, lying that it is giving 14 billion.
The SYRIZA Minister of Development would not go to the channels claiming that with 200 euros a household survives for a month, nor ironically would he affirm that poor citizens do not need quarantine help because they will become 300 kilos … He would not consider it normal to lift protection from first home, nor would I consider that the long-term unemployed have money to live on. And no one in government would call the businesses that need it most now, zombies and bastards.
With a SYRIZA government, it would not be an institution to suspend employment contracts, and employees would not risk a permanent reduction in their wages. It would not be partial, but total, to prohibit dismissals during the epidemic crisis, as is the case in other countries, for example in Italy and Denmark. We would not allow labor relations to change, and the thirteenth pension would not have been reduced before the pandemic. Farmers would not be exempt from the 25% discount on insurance contributions and a special plan for the tourism crisis would not be entirely missing.
Finally, we would not have ministers to establish “jobs” for millions in the days of crisis. We would not approve pseudo-educational programs “shamefully for professionals” as a “spiral first” and we would not sit idly by watching the shameful party for medical and paramedical products. PPC electricity would not be cut to poor households. The overtime hours of the doctors who fought on the front line would not be shortened. The democratic rights of citizens, the parliamentary function, but also democracy itself, would not be in danger of being quarantined. “
The attitude of the opposition.
Finally, Mr. Tsipras refers to the attitude of a hypothetical ND opposition: “All this is certain that if it were the SYRIZA government, they would give the country, the economy, all of us, many more opportunities to stay standing”. Because if SYRIZA were in government, the country would not have an opposition at critical moments like the responsible SYRIZA opposition, but it would have an opposition that we live with. An opposition that would use the entire arsenal of fake news, both for the real situation in the country and for the nonexistent behavior of the SYRIZA executives. It would call post-election elections in the midst of a pandemic, while most of the media that supports it would count death by death, hour by hour, reducing demagoguery to a central axis of opposition.
They would establish a front with the intransigent of the Church, and it would not be the first time, to keep the temples open. While Commander BoG would not make predictions for a low recession rate out of place and on time, just the opposite. You may have had a memorandum ready on the table.
We would have an official opposition leader who would not speak to the Minister of Health, as I did from the first moment, but would ask for his resignation through yachts. It would do everything possible to obtain political benefits in the midst of a pandemic, as it did in the midst of the memoranda. Everything for everything, to get closer to power.
Of course he is doing the same thing now. It is trying to reap political benefits amid a pandemic. All for everything so as not to lose power. Only fortunately now, not with a plan to destroy it, but with many communication plans to feed the laurels of the so-called Moses. But, nevertheless, without any plan for the great great economic recession that is coming.
