Coronavirus: New images of incredible crowds in Thessaloniki, where the last night before the lockdown was imposed, some people decided to have fun … as if there was no tomorrow.
As of today at 6:00 in the morning 14 regional units of the country change the alarm level.
Specifically, the regional units of Thessaloniki, Larissa and Rodopi go to “red”, that is, to level 4 (Increased risk). Also, in the “orange”, that is, level 3 (Increased Vigilance) starting at 06:00 on Friday, the regional units: Drama, Evros, Imathia, Kavala, Kilkis, Xanthi, Pella, Pieria and Halkidiki, while in the “yellow”, Level 2 (surveillance) passes the regional units of Arcadia and Messinia.
With regard to the regional units of Thessaloniki, Larissa and Rodopi, from today the measures provided for level 4 (Increased risk) apply with the sole exception of the issue of land, sea and air connections and travel to and from these areas, for practical reasons related to citizen planning. The displacement exemption from the general level 4 measures for these three zones will be valid until Monday at 6am. However, in the next few hours, the travel issue will be reassessed across the board for all Level 4 areas.

In addition, as of today, the mandatory use of a mask (mask everywhere) indoors and outdoors, the curfew from 12:30 to midnight to 5 in the morning and the suspension of all meetings in spaces public and private.
In addition, the operation of the following is suspended: – Courts, Prosecutor’s Offices, Mortgage Offices, all types of Cadastral Offices and Delegations of the “Hellenic Cadastre” body
– Archaeological sites, museums, caves
– Live performances and auditions, other performing arts.

Rehearsals, TV and filming: Suspension of film and television filming. Rehearsals will only be conducted by videoconference
– Nightclubs, including banquets, catering and bars
– Musical stage

Regarding retail and service companies, as well as hairdressers, manicure-pedicure services, beauty salons, etc., in the regional units included in level 4, they will operate under the strict conditions of level 3.
Regarding the regional units of Drama, Evros, Imathia, Kavala, Kilkis, Xanthi, Pella, Pieria and Halkidiki that went to “orange”, level 3, that is, (Increased Vigilance), starting today at 6:00 tomorrow the mandatory use of mask indoors and outdoors comes into force, as well as the curfew after 12:30 am to 5 pm
It is recalled that at level 4 there are currently the following regional units: Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Kastoria, Kozani, Larissa, Rodopi and Serres.
At level 3 is the Attica Regional Unit, among others.
