Extraordinary weather deterioration bulletin
The weather in Crete has been deteriorating since Monday afternoon (September 11), with heavy rains and thunderstorms accompanied in some places by strong winds and possibly hail.
From the afternoon hours, the phenomena affect the southern regions of the Dodecanese (mainly Kasos and Karpathos).
A weakening of the phenomena is expected from 12 noon on Wednesday (11-11-2020).
The weather today
Heavy rains and thunderstorms are forecast in Crete and the southern Dodecanese regions, which may be accompanied by hail.
In the east of the continent, Evia and Sporadic local rains and in the rest of the regions a generally clear climate.
The winds will blow southeast from the east for 4 to 6 beauties. In the northeast rest 4 to 6, in the Aegean locally 7 to 8 Beaufort.

Climate: Generally clear.
Winds: Northeast 4-5 and gradually until 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: 11 to 21 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Climate: Temporarily overcast, mainly in the east and north where local rains will occur.
Winds: Northeast 5 to 6 and east 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: 16 to 20 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Climate: Generally clear. Visibility in the morning will be locally limited.
Winds: Variable 3 and gradually north to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: 10 to 18 degrees Celsius.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Generally clear and only in Thrace will there be temporary clouds. Visibility to the west in the morning will be locally limited.
Winds: In western Macedonia variable from 3 to 4 beauties. In the remaining areas of the northeast 4 to 5 and in the east 6 local 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 03 to 19 degrees centigrade. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower and in the morning there will be frosts in some places.
IONIC ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STEREA, WESTERN PELOPONESE
Climate: Generally clear.
Winds: East northeast 3-5 and later Ionian locally until 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 06 to 22 degrees Celsius. In Epirus 4 to 5 points less.
THESALIA, EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONIAN
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily increased with local rains mainly in Evia and the Sporades.
Winds: Northeast 5 to 6, east and south 7 and locally 8 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 20 degrees Celsius. In the north 3 to 4 degrees lower.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Climate: In Crete rain clouds and locally strong thunderstorms. In the Cyclades, some clouds temporarily increased in the south, where local rains and isolated thunderstorms are likely to occur.
Winds: Northeast 5 to 6, West 7 to 8 Beaufort.
Temperature: 16 to 22 degrees Celsius.
EASTERN EEGEUS ISLANDS, DODECANESE
Weather: In the Dodecanese, the clouds temporarily increased with sporadic rains and thunderstorms, locally strong in the southern areas, mainly in Karpathos and Kasos. In the rest of the areas some local clouds and lots of sun.
Winds: In the eastern Aegean islands from north to northeast 5 to 6 and gradually north to 8 Beaufort. In the Dodecanese from the east in direction 4 to 6 Beauforts.
Temperature: 17 to 23 degrees Celsius. In the north 2 to 3 degrees lower.

Weather Wednesday, November 11
In Crete and the Dodecanese the clouds increased with sporadic showers and thunderstorms that will be strong in some places until noon. In the west, some clouds temporarily increased. In the rest of the areas, clouds sometimes increased with local rains mainly in the east of the continent, the Sporades and Evia.
The winds will blow, in the southeast from the east in directions of 3 to 5 beauforts and in the rest of the north-northeast country from 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 beauforts.
The temperature will drop in the central and northern parts.

Some clouds increased locally mainly in the east and south, with
temporary rains mainly in the southwest.
Locally limited visibility in the morning.

The temperature will drop slightly in the south.
