Speaking on a SKAI television program, he clarified that the teleworking measure will operate from September 21 to October 4 and will affect 40% of the employees of private and state companies. Mr Vroutsis stressed that in the major labor market reform, which will take place in October, there is a special chapter on teleworking, noting that Greece will have a healthy and clear environment for teleworking.
The labor minister also highlighted the importance of the program for the creation of 100,000 new jobs and the reduction of insurance contributions.

The program, with a budget of 350 million euros, will last six months. According to Mr. Vroutsis, companies must retain the same number of employees they currently have, in addition to those they hire, while companies that will join the program must be aware of insurance and taxes and, if they are in debt, they must have pay off your debts.
Among other things, the Minister of Labor stated that in the second half of October the retroactive payments of pensioners will be paid and added that, in a few days, there will be no pending pension for widowhood and peasant cases. “For all other cases, announcements will be made in the next time period,” clarified Mr. Vroutsis, adding that the digital pension for disability pensions is coming.
