Vaccination in vulnerable groups is expected to take place in the second half of March, while in early April the vaccination of citizens in age groups 70-74 and 65-69 will begin.

Speaking with SKAI, Secretary General Thanasis Kontogeorgis pointed out that citizens over 60 years of age and those suffering from serious diseases will have been vaccinated in early May.
Mr. Kontogeorgis affirmed that in the next few days it will be announced how people with serious illnesses will be certified to follow the series of vaccinations, noting that the corresponding list has already been prepared by means of an intangible prescription and IDIKA, however it will be announced how it can be included in the list if it has not been identified by the competent state services.
He estimated that the platform for vulnerable groups will open in the second half of March and a few days later it will open for citizens aged 70-74 and 65-69 years.
Mr. Kontogeorgis noted that depending on the availability and type of vaccines, pharmacies and private doctors will be involved in the process, however, the relevant announcements will be made after April.

So far, more than 1,100,000 citizens have been vaccinated, while some 370,000 have received the second dose.
April and May are the big bets of vaccination.
