Utrecht police are on alert due to the state of emergency at the main train station.
Utrecht police announced Tuesday evening that Trains from the main railway station in the Dutch city were interrupted when agents were looking for a suspicious person on a train.
According to eyewitnesses, the train station is full of armed police officers, who have started a manhunt and are investigating the area.
Local media, citing eyewitnesses, report that a man threw a bag shouting Allahu Alkbar.
“After a suspicious situation on a train, rail traffic was stopped and the station emptied. “The police are looking for a person on the train,” the Dutch city police said via Twitter.
