In detail, the metropolitan of Nea Ionia, Gabriel, says: “By the grace of God and after a long period of spiritual pain, functional deprivation and mysterious lack, we again deserve to participate in the constituent element of our Church. Let us go to our Temples, to receive the mysteries of the Lord, to meet our brothers, share our problems and pray with all our hearts for others. We deserve to be mysteriously united with our Lord Jesus Christ and to participate in his heavenly kingdom at every moment of the liturgical year.

At the same time, however, we want to reflect on our great responsibility to preserve and protect human life and take simple and decisive measures so that our human beings do not suffer, but also experience and not experience new moments.

For this reason, we must all respect the strict observance of the health and protection measures of ourselves and of the entire grateful community. Show a sense of responsibility and maturity. Let us overcome our fears and trust fully in our lives in our risen Christ, the leader of life and death.
The dominant place in the life of the Church is occupied by pastoral art, the vehicle of virtue that guides the faithful with distinction, love and security to their spiritual perfection, deification and holiness, “to the extent of the magnitude of the crew of Christ “(4). 13).

“Pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17) urges us Saint Paul. Prayer, my brothers, is a healing tool for man. Therefore, our frequent prayers will be from here and to the means by which our lives will be strengthened and strengthened after this period of fear and insecurity caused by the pandemic we are experiencing.
