Two foreigners, a man and a woman, were arrested on Tuesday afternoon in an area of the municipality of Hersonissos, by police officers from the Drug Control Department of the Sub-Directorate of Security of Heraklion, accused of possession and trafficking of drugs
His arrest took place during a police operation, during which the foreigner who had entered the car was located. a female-owned passenger car to collect six makeshift packages containing a total of two kilograms and forty grams of heroin.
As was found during the preliminary investigation, the foreigner had hidden the specific amount of heroin, to deliver it to the foreigner, and was arrested. In a search of the two foreigners and their home, among other things, a precision scale and ferry tickets were found and confiscated, while the car was confiscated as a means of facilitating drug trafficking.
The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Drug Control Department of the Heraklion Security Sub-directorate, while those arrested with the file against them will be taken to the Heraklion Public Prosecutor’s Office.
