Let’s start from the beginning. On a difficult track where the drivers were racing for the first time and it was quite narrow, things started with the worst omens. On the second lap after the start we had a severe collision with Gasley and Ferstappen exiting the race and the safety car entering the track.

After five laps and while the Grand Prix was about to start, there was a delay in the rear seats and a new collision between four drivers that resulted in a red flag and the first stop of the race.

The Grand Prix started again with 14 drivers at the start and with Hamilton advancing again and leading the race leaving behind a small defeat between Leclerc, Ricciardo and Stroll. But again, Ferrari did not live up to expectations and fell behind.

On the 44th lap, Paseo came out with great speed in the barriers resulting in the new interruption of the race again with a red flag. The drivers returned to the pits and the race started with a third … start over. Initially, Ricciardo was able to pass Boots, but on the next lap, the Mercedes driver passed him again. In fact, the Australian lost his place to Albon, who passed him impressively and managed to hold onto third place until the end and get on the podium for the first time.

The appearance of the two Ferraris disappointed again. In the 1000th Grand Prix in their history, Leclerc and Vettel finished in ninth and tenth place in their history with Raikkonen in eighth place. The Finn, however, was hit with a five-second penalty for which Leclerc eventually moved up to eighth place.
