Turkey has warned that it will “respond decisively” to the dismantling of the Turkish supranationalist organization Gray Wolves by France, calling the decision a “challenge.”

“We emphasize the need to protect the freedom of expression and assembly of the French Turks and to respond to this decision in the strongest possible terms,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The French Interior Minister announced today the dissolution of the “gray wolf movement”, following recent violent incidents between members of the Turkish community and members of the Armenian community in France.
Turkey’s Foreign Ministry stressed today that “there is no such thing as a movement called the Gray Wolves”, describing the movement that was dissolved by France today as “a figment of the imagination.”
The dissolution of the gray wolves is an indication that “the French government is now completely under the control of the Armenian circles of influence,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
