Turkey: Renew Navtex for Oruc Reis – World

[ad_1]

24 hours before the Mitsotaki-Erdogan telephone exchange on the earthquakes, where the word “solidarity” was heard, Turkey renews NAVTEX for the Oruc Reis, until November 14, according to Militaire.gr.

A few days ago, Turkey canceled Navtex, which was scheduled for October 28 in a goodwill measure, as was characteristically emphasized.

The news about the new Navtex is broadcast by the Turkish agency EHA.

NAVTEX also refers to the Turkish research escorts Ataman and Genghis Khan.

Navtex’s renewal shows in practice that Turkey continues to be on the hard line and is trying to impose itself in view of its dialogue with Greece, which, however, is doubtful that it will ever start with such moves.

Athens has already said many times that it is not possible to sit at the dialogue table with Reis strolling through the eastern Mediterranean and, sometimes, navigating the Greek continental shelf.

It remains to be seen what the Greek response to the new Turkish movement will be. However, Greece had canceled its own Navtex, which was scheduled for last week.
