Less than 24 hours after being diagnosed with coronavirus, United States President Donald Trump was transferred to a United States military hospital.
Trump, 74, had developed the first before symptoms of Covid-19 diseaselike cough and fever. The White House said the decision to transport him to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center was made as part of “excessive attention” to the health of the 45th US president.

According to the New York Times, Trump has already received an experimental drug for mild symptoms, to which nasal congestion has now been added. The Oval Office reports that the president is tired but in a good mood.
Trump uploaded to his personal Twitter account an 18-second video in which he announced to his followers that “he is doing very well” but that he will be transported to the hospital.
“I want to thank everyone for their incredible support. I am going to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I am doing very well, but we will make sure everything works properly. The first lady is very well. So … thank you very much, I know. I appreciate it, I will never forget it ”.

Following Trump’s transfer to the Marine One presidential helicopter hospital, the White House communications director clarified that the president did not resign his functions to Vice President Mike Pence and retains control of the government.

The medication Trump is taking is a cocktail of antibodies developed by the biotech company Regenero, according to a note from Dr. Sean P. Conley. The President of the United States is also taking vitamin D, zinc, melatonin, aspirin, and famotidine Pepcid.
Before he was diagnosed with coronavirus, Trump had traveled to three US states and had a busy schedule.
Melania Trump also remains in quarantine having also developed mild symptoms. By contrast, tests on Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kouchner came back negative for the new coronavirus. Tests of the Trump couple’s 14-year-old son, Baron, were also negative.
“President Trump is in a good mood, has mild symptoms and works all day. Due to excessive attention, and on the recommendation of his doctor and specialists, the president will work from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days. “President Trump appreciates the overflow of support for both himself and the first lady,” the White House said in a statement.
