The death of a 14-year-old MasterChef Junior player, who passed away after a brief battle with cancer, cannot be imagined.
Ben Watkins, who participated in MasterChef Junior USA, took his last breath at Lurie Children’s Hospital, defeated by a rare form of brain cancer, which has happened in the past to only 6 people in history!
“Ben made us come home after six months fighting cancer.” Ben was and will be the strongest man we know, “his family said in a statement.
“Ben suffered on Earth at the age of 14 and we are happy that this pain is over. He left knowing that everyone loves him,” the announcement concluded.
The most tragic in history? Ben’s parents had died three or three years earlier, when his father killed his mother and then committed suicide.
