A 24-year-old woman in Russia was tragically killed when her mobile phone while charging was found in the bathtub, causing an electric shock.
Olesya Semenova was in her apartment in Arkhangelsk when she died. His cell phone, for a reason unknown until now, was found in the bathtub and his death was instantaneous.
The man who asked for help, his roommate named Daria, told authorities: “I shook her, I poured water on her face but she was pale, she was not breathing. “When I touched it, the current hit me too.”
The health services confirmed the death of the 24-year-old by electric shock.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations also issued an announcement about the incident, stating: “This tragedy reminds us that we should not have any electrical apparatus near water. The same goes for mobile phones. “
